Stingray Glider Girls
Age: 6-7 years
Duration: 1 Hour
Stingray Glider Girls is an exciting gymnastics class designed for girls age 6 to 7 who are ready to take their skills to the next level! This 1-hour class introduces gymnasts to the larger gymnastics equipment, including the bars, beam, vault, and floor, allowing them to build strength, coordination, and confidence in a more advanced setting.
With a focus on skill development, gymnasts will refine their rolls, handstands, and cartwheels while beginning to work on bridges, pullovers, and balancing on the high beam. Our experienced coaches provide a supportive and structured environment, helping students progress at their own pace while encouraging independence and perseverance.
This class is perfect for young gymnasts eager to explore more challenging skills while having fun and staying active!
Students do not automatically advance from Leapfrogs to Stingray Glider Girls once they turn 6. Advancement is based on coach recommendation, considering both ability and focus level — not age alone.
Beginner: No previous experience is required for this class.
Intermediate: For students who have mastered all beginner-level skills, we offer an Intermediate option to help bridge the gap before moving into more advanced classes.
Coach’s invitation is required.
**Parent Observation**
Parents are welcome to observe classes from the upstairs viewing area. However, we kindly remind you that coaching, calling out, or giving instructions from the viewing area is not permitted. This is not only dangerous but also distracting — it takes away from the athlete’s focus and the coach’s ability to provide proper instruction. For the safety and progress of all athletes, it is essential that their full attention remains on our coaching staff.
We also ask that parents and helpers arriving early for class do not allow children to run, tumble, or play in the upstairs viewing area. This space is for quiet observation only, so that everyone can watch their children in class comfortably and without distraction.
