Stingray Glider Boys

Stingray Glider Boys is an action-packed 1-hour gymnastics class designed for boys ages 6 to 8. This class introduces gymnasts to all six men’s gymnastics apparatuses: floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar, helping them develop strength, agility, and coordination in a structured and supportive environment.
With a strong emphasis on strength and agility, gymnasts will work on basic tumbling skills, body control drills, rope climbs, support holds, and core conditioning exercises. They will also develop confidence and coordination through jumping drills, landings, hanging and swinging skills, and introductory vault techniques. This class provides a great foundation for boys to build overall athleticism, endurance, and flexibility, all while having fun and staying active!
Perfect for energetic boys who are ready to challenge themselves and explore the fundamentals of boys gymnastics!
Students do not automatically advance from Leapfrogs into Stingray Glider Boys once they turn 6. Advancement is based on coach recommendation, considering both ability and focus level — not age alone.
Beginner: No previous experience is required for this class.
**Parent Observation**
Parents are welcome to observe classes from the upstairs viewing area. However, we kindly remind you that coaching, calling out, or giving instructions from the viewing area is not permitted. This is not only dangerous but also distracting — it takes away from the athlete’s focus and the coach’s ability to provide proper instruction. For the safety and progress of all athletes, it is essential that their full attention remains on our coaching staff.
We also ask that parents and helpers arriving early for class do not allow children to run, tumble, or play in the upstairs viewing area. This space is for quiet observation only, so that everyone can watch their children in class comfortably and without distraction.
