Recreational Girls is the next step for gymnasts ages 8 and up who are ready to continue their gymnastics journey in a fun and supportive environment. This beginner-level class is designed for older athletes, focusing on skill development while allowing each gymnast to progress at their own pace.
Gymnasts will work on floor, beam, bars, and vault, building strength, flexibility, and coordination through fundamental gymnastics skills. Whether they are learning the basics or refining previously mastered skills, no student will be left behind—each gymnast will be taught according to their ability to ensure they continue to grow and improve.
This class is perfect for girls looking to stay active, gain confidence, and advance their gymnastics skills in an engaging and encouraging setting!
**Please Note**
This class welcomes both new and continuing gymnasts. Students are placed based on skills and coach recommendation, so older beginners who are new to gymnastics are very welcome and will be grouped at the appropriate level.
Beginner: No previous experience is required — this class is open to new students of any age.
Intermediate: Coach’s invitation is required. For students who have mastered all beginner-level skills, we offer an
Intermediate option to help bridge the gap before moving into more advanced recreational classes.
**Parent Observation**
Parents are welcome to observe classes from the upstairs viewing area. However, we kindly remind you that coaching, calling out, or giving instructions from the viewing area is not permitted. This is not only dangerous but also distracting — it takes away from the athlete’s focus and the coach’s ability to provide proper instruction. For the safety and progress of all athletes, it is essential that their full attention remains on our coaching staff.
We also ask that parents and helpers arriving early for class do not allow children to run, tumble, or play in the upstairs viewing area. This space is for quiet observation only, so that everyone can watch their children in class comfortably and without distraction.
